Prime Electric Ltd. has set-up a modern and State-of-the-art factory for EHV Power Transformer up to 1000 MVA / 500 KV with major focus on exports.  The project has set up in joint venture with a European business house.

The unit is located on 100 acre land in a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Naidupeta, district Nellore in the Southern State of Andhra Pradesh.  The location of this project is just 70 km from a large sea port called Krishnapatnam and close proximity to the Ennore and Chennai Ports apart from excellent road connectivity within the country.

The annual production of the unit in the first phase is upto 10,000 MVA per year, which is proposed to be expanded to 35,000 MVA in the subsequent phase.
